Caught in the Act

Leviticus 20:10 NKJV
‘The man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, he who commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress, shall surely be put to death.

It was actually on this law that some men brought the woman caught in the act to Jesus with stones to stone her to death, they claimed it was according to the law but the law here says that the man and the woman shall surely be put to death. So, have you ever wondered why they didn't drag the man as well but only the woman?
John 8:3-6 NKJV
[3] Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, [4] they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. [5] Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” [6] This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.

Even in our society today, we see men wanting to crucify any woman caught in adultery while claiming that a man is promiscuous in nature. When a man is caught in adultery, it is shamefully normal but when a woman is caught it is an abomination but what does the law they referred to say? No one is exempted! So, Jesus saw the wickedness of their hearts and knew that these people always show favoritism Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
No wonder He told them, anyone without sin should be the first to cast a stone at her and their sins judged them right away. How can sinner condemn another sinner to death? That would be injustice!

I was thinking, probably the man who was caught committing adultery with the woman was among the people that dragged her to Jesus🤷🏾‍♀️.

Not that the Bible said so, it's just my thought because I had to ask myself, where was the man when they dragged the woman, why didn't they drag him? Know this, men know how to cover their sinful acts, probably he has also caught one or two among them before, so they knew they were all the same and dragging him would equally expose them, probably they have even slept with some of their friend's wives standing there with them but thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ Who hasn't come to condemn sinners but to save them Luke 5:32 NKJV I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
The only sinners that are condemned are the ones who have rejected Him.
John 3:18 NKJV “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Any sinner that comes to Him, He forgives and cleanses away his or her sins and never remembers them again Isaiah 43:25 NKJV “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins.

Like He said to the woman thy sins are forgiven thee He still says to any sinner that comes to Him today, Son/Daughter/Child, your sins are forgiven you.
He said it to me some decades ago and He still says so to every sinner that comes to Him today.

Why should you carry that loads of sin alone? Why do you want to die in your sins?
There is something Jesus does to everyone that genuinely comes to Him, besides forgiving and cleansing you, He also gives you power to live a sinless life, He gives you His righteousness in exchange for your sins and  sinful nature. That saying that no one is righteous is only true at the point of physical birth but no longer true the day the person accepts the Lord Jesus and now walks after the Spirit of God.
Romans 8:1 NKJV There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Leviticus 19:20 NKJV ‘Whoever lies carnally with a woman who is betrothed to a man as a concubine, and who has not at all been redeemed nor given her freedom, for this there shall be scourging; but they shall not be put to death, because she was not free. Only few sexual sins were found in Leviticus without the death sentence but with serious punishment. Every sin is punishable, sexual sin kills the sinner. You may be walking physically but spiritually you are gone. God's commandments  are for our own good.

I crave your indulgence to come to Jesus today. No sinner is worst, if He made a prostitute an evangelist forgave an adulterous woman, made a great Apostle out of a persecutor and killer then your case is not worst.
