Peace Wobo
I was chatting with a friend last month, when I asked who he was, he said I am a Christian and I thought it was the perfect answer but then he added something else, "I was born a Christian". To this, I instantly disagreed with a resounding NO! Though he was correct because one could be born a Christian or a Muslim by the world's standard but we know they were called Christians because they behaved like Christ.

So for me, you can't be born a Christian. Maybe you were born into a Christian family but you weren't born a Christian until the day you meet with Christ and begin to live like Christ to everyone around you.
Nobody was born a Christian and nobody can ever be born a Christian. Becoming a Christian is a decision we make deliberately and intentionally. Our families can never make that decision for us. Our place of birth or where we were born into doesn't qualify us to be one. Been born again is a choice and if been a Christian is to be Christ-like then you must have personally known Christ for you to be like Him.
Romans 10:9 Living Bible (TLB)
9 For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and believe in your own heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We become Christians the day we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Saviour. So even if you were born as a Bishop's child, always in church and involved in Christian activities, you are not yet a Christian till the day you accept Christ into your life.
So many people do things because they were born into it or because they see others doing it. Even the crowds came out to be baptized by John because it is a popular thing to do or so they thought, they saw it as a normal tradition.
I don't know how many of us go to church because it is a normal thing in our family, we join choir, ushering, sanctuary cleaners, etc because it is a normal thing and our life is not reflecting God. Christianity is not about doing things because every other person does it.
Christianity is about serving God with understanding, love, reference, total submission and obedience to His will. In 2020, serve God not because it's a family tradition but because you have an understanding of who God is to you because going to church, singing in choir, ushering people, etc without applying what you are taught (God's word) is useless. Be a hearer, a preacher, a teacher, and a doer. Inspired by Luke 3:7-9
:7 When crowds of people came out for baptism because it was the popular thing to do, John exploded: "Brood of snakes! What do you think you're doing slithering down here to the river? Do you think a little water on your snakeskins is going to deflect God's judgment?
:8 It's your life that must change, not your skin. And don't think you can pull rank by claiming Abraham as 'father.' Being a child of Abraham is neither here nor there - children of Abraham are a dime a dozen. God can make children from stones if he wants.
:9 What counts is your life. Is it green and blossoming? Because if it's deadwood, it goes on the fire."
