I just discovered that the difference between man, the sea creatures and the fowls of the earth was that God commissioned man to replenish, subdue and have dominion. So, no matter how these other creatures multiply, they can never subdue or dominate man. In fact, they are to multiply for man's consumption. Verse: 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Scripturally man is not the only entity entitled to the blessings of God. It makes known that God places value on everything He took time to create.
What does this teach us? God is interested in how man dominates and rules over every other thing He created. This also is to educate us on how we are to treat God's creatures. A lot of people do things against nature, against the standard God has already set in place. So many people abuse and defile the earth.
This is a call to value everything God created and to manage them with fear and reference to God knowing that misusing or abusing anything that carries God's blessings could attract God's punishment and curse.
