I often hear a lot of folks say what they believe but their actions don't correspond with their confession.
Believing without acting is Meaningless.
If you claim that you believe in God but don't live your life to please and glorify God then your believe is meaningless. So many people believe that Jesus is the Son of God but don't believe that He is the only way to the Father, they don't believe that salvation is through Christ Jesus, they don't believe that He is the saviour of the world, and they have refused to receive Him as their Lord and Saviour. You believe in God, you do well, you believe in Jesus as the Son of God, you do well but it means nothing if you don't receive Jesus into your life, it means nothing if you don't live a life that glorifies God. It means nothing when you refuse Jesus as the only way to the Father. James 1:19-20 says "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
[20] But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?"
The Devils believe just as you believe. What makes the difference is the work you put in place by your believe. Believing alone makes you no different from the devils because they also believe that there is one God.
As you hear and believe, be a doer of what you hear and believe. So many people believe God only with their mouth because their action betray them.
Finally, according to James 1:22 "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves". Do what you confess. Live what you confess to believe.
